
Makyla Vigil is an associate estate planning attorney at KOZA LAW GROUP.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Ms. Vigil received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Soon after, she moved to San Diego to attend the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL), where she graduated cum laude and received her Juris Doctorate of Law.
While in law school, Ms. Vigil worked in TJSL’s Small Business Law Center, where she counseled small businesses and non-profits.
She also served as a member and editor of TJSL’s Law Review, where she wrote a law review note on Section 14(e) of the Securities and Exchange Act.
In her professional practice, Ms. Vigil has practiced in numerous areas of the law, including estate planning, insurance defense, personal injury, and landlord/tenant, to name just a few. However, in 2022, Makyla dedicated her practice to estate planning exclusively.
In her personal time, Makyla enjoys puzzles, taking her dogs to the dog park, and going to the beach.
