Roxana Aftahi is an associate attorney at Koza Law Group, APC, practicing in areas of estate planning and business law.
Ms. Aftahi earned her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior, with a minor in Criminology, Law and Society (University of California, Irvine). She received her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (San Diego, California).
While at the University of California (Irvine), Roxana gained certification as a mediator at Orange County Human Relations.
Ms. Aftahi is involved with various philanthropic activities aimed at helping her community. She supports the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), aimed towards making a positive impact in the lives of foster children.
She has also donated her time to the Thomas Jefferson Pro Bono Legal Clinic, where she has provided free legal advice in various fields of law for those who are unable to afford it.
In addition to her experience in the areas of estate planning and business law, while a member of the California bar, Ms. Aftahi has also handled matters in civil litigation, family law, consumer law, real estate law and national security law.
She is a current member of the American Bar Association, as well as the San Diego County Bar Association.
Roxana is a San Diego native and is fluent in Farsi. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and hanging out with her Pomeranian, Bert.
